Step into the past at the Pierce Ranch House, where discerning clients can experience the legacy of a Texas gulf coast cattleman’s estate. Located just one hour southwest of Houston, the Pierce Ranch house and its grounds provide an elegant, welcoming retreat for hunters, business groups, family events and weddings. With facilities for both open-air and tented events, we can provide various ceremony and reception scenarios. From a simple country wedding to a sophisticated production, our facilities are adaptable and diverse enough to accommodate an entire weekend of festivities. One of the unique elements of our venue is the variety of on-site lodging options. In addition to the Pierce Ranch House, there are two more rustic lodges on the ranch which can house up to forty guests (double and group occupancy).

This building is an open air, covered space measuring 25x 33. It is a perfect place to enjoy outdoor entertaining, with views of the horse pasture beyond the compound fence. Set within the ranch’s original smoking fireplace, there is a gas grill, a charcoal grill, wet bar, and big screen TV. For stargazing, the fire pit is just steps away from the pavilion.

The headquarters of Shanghai’s cattle empire has served many purposes over the generations, as it does in our venue. In addition to leading the lodging options, the Pierce Ranch House can also be rented for dinners, parties, and meetings. The sumptuous common areas can house up to forty guests between the living room, formal dining room, and gallery porch, which can be opened up to the patio for more space. Seated meals for up thirty can be configured as well.
