About The Coop

The Coop is an event space which is available for rent Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday all day and night. We are also available on Friday and Saturday 10am - 6pm. Friday and Saturday nights are available for specific rates, inquire for those details. This event space is the home of award winning comedy club Next In Line Comedy, and has a full stage, PA with speakers, audio equipment, projectors, TVs, monitors and microphones available for use. The space has wifi, 12 bistro tables, 4 high top tables, 2 buffet tables, and 80 chairs available for use plus a 12 person couch and benches. We have options for a fully staffed bar, with custom bar menu with Love City Brewing as our beverage partner, to a full DIY BYOB option. There is no food for sale. All renters may bring in any food for their events.

I hosted a Halloween event along with my brothers and we can’t thank the owners of the coop enough. Betty was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. I will absolutely be renting this place again and I suggest that you do as well for any sort of event need. Seriously, fantastic crew running the coop.

I was able to have my fiancé's 30th birthday party at The Coop. I cannot begin to explain how incredible the entire experience was. I was met with such genuine and accepting event staff who were able to breakdown the process of the rental space for me, and followed up with an amazing amount of support and guidance throughout the entire process. The event space Is beautiful and is genuinely a blank canvas for any event you may be having, there were ample seating options, wide open spaces, and lighting that made the space fit our event so well. In comparison to many other venues, I would undoubtedly choose to hold an event here again; amazing communication, kind staff, utilization of audio and visual elements, etc. Thank you so very much for having us, And making this event memorable!!

Perfect spot for a gathering of 50-100 people - An Eventective User from New York

My company was looking to throw a party for Philly-based customers and got connected with The Coop. It was a great experience from end-to-end. Rental fee was very reasonable, and they work with Dock Street Brewery to staff the bar. Betty managed our event and was so responsive and accommodating, beforehand and the day of. Coming from NY, I couldn’t check it out until the day of the event, but Betty was totally on the ball. Space itself is really nice, with flexibility in layout, lighting, etc. to match different vibes and purposes. Altogether I would absolutely work with The Coop again in the future!

I rented the Coop for a friends baby shower! The hosts made it an extremely simple and easy process! They were so accommodating. Not only did they show us the ropes on the space but then we were able to completely transform it to create a banging party complete with decorations, speeches, and a slideshow! Would highly recommend the space and people for anyone looking for a fun and seamless event of any kind!

Very Versatile Venue - An Eventective User from Philadelphia

I rented the Coop for a friend's baby shower. We liked the venue because we were able to rent it for a reasonable cost and they were flexible with what we wanted to do. They offered us great catering options and allowed us to bring in our own decor. The room is equipped with seating and tables as well as a wet bar, refrigerator and private bathroom. There is also a full sound system set up, tv setup and cable. I definitely recommend the space for any group up to 100 people. Everyone had a great time!
