Scrapbook films takes an independent filmmaker’s approach to wedding videography. We believe in keeping it simple. We believe that the story of a wedding and the people who experience it should come before templates, slow motion montages, and special editing effects. We believe that it is possible to collaborate with our clients. We believe that the people best suited to handle this difficult task–of capturing quite possibly the most memorable day of your life–are those who throw themselves into creative environments day after day, and those people are filmmakers. Our videographers produce documentaries, direct the photography of narrative shorts, edit feature films and are generally busy writing or filming their own projects when not working on yours. With this approach in mind, your wedding DVD will have the pacing, composition, and cinematic detail of a film, not a standard wedding video. We will work with you to design a project that fits your budget and can film and edit as much or as little of the day and the events leading up to the day as you would like. Our goal is for you to have a wedding film that you can watch over and over again and be reminded of the people, moments and spirit of such a special day.
