In one of my more stubborn moments of planning my wedding, I decided that I was going to do the lighting myself. I reluctantly met up with Richard Phillips of Interactive Entertainment Systems, who turned out to be the sweetest, kindest, and most creative lighting guy I could have asked for. One of those people who could actually interpret the hand gestures that I apparently consider to be communication. He completely transformed our reception from a basic creekside backyard wedding to a rustic, enchanting, all night dance party. With the flip of a switch, Richard made our wedding reception a night that neither our guests nor we will ever forget. He deserves more than 5 stars...I would recommend him to anyone and everyone in need of lighting!

Richard Phillips, owner of Interactive Entertainment Systems, and his staff are incredible to work with! I’ve planned many large events and these guys really know what they are doing. Richard was super easy to communicate with from beginning to end! He and his crew showed up on time to set up and take down all the equipment. I was so happy to see what started as a fun and simple “glow-in-the-dark” party idea turn into an amazing event experience for the families at our church to experience. He really knows his stuff and everything was perfect! He did a great job of letting me know exactly what we needed and how we should set things up to make the event a success. Everyone really enjoyed the Interactive Light Display. It was a fantastic addition to our event. People played in it all night long! If you are looking for special effect lighting for an upcoming event, I highly recommend using IES! You won’t be disappointed.

We've been renting lighting equipment from Richard for a couple of years now. Each time he has been wonderful to work with. He's always helping my organization stay within budget without sacrificing the quality of his products. I highly recommend IES!
