Terms and Conditions

Retainer Fee: A 50% retainer fee along with signed contract is required. Consultation Fee: There is a $75 consulation fee. If services are booked this amount will be applied to your final invoice. Event Production Charge: There will be a 20% event production charge for all events/functions which require staff. This charge is not classified as a gratuity for services rendered or apart of mandatory state taxes. Final Balance: Final balance is due 7 days prior to event date. Payment methods: We accept cash, credit, or corporate check only. All credit transactions will be assessed a 4% processing fee. Cancellation Policy: All prepayments and retainers will be returned in full (less 50% of the retainer) if event is cancelled by the Client or Venue with notice over 60 days prior to the event date. If the event is cancelled within 60 days by the Client or venue no return of payment will be provided. Blackfolkfood reserves the right to reschedule any event subject to availability. Instances involving Acts of God will result in the prepayment balance applied to a future event or service. Any additional costs incurred by Caterer in the preparation of the event will also be charged to the Client.
