About The Peoria Zoo
The newest addition at The Peoria Zoo, sits on 14 acres adjacent to the historical zoo. We can now accommodate 200 guests for your indoor function, or 1200 guests when weather permits. Many wedding ceremonies and receptions have used our space since opening in 2009. Couples can rent the Zambezi River Lodge alone or opt to rent the outdoor area containing a large, open sided gazebo as well. If couples would like to have the Africa animals on exhibit, the entire Africa section of the zoo will be open to guests! This option is available until 1/2 hour before sunset.
