We recently used Nancy's Haute Affairs on the advice of a church friend. They do have a very good reputation around town so we figured it was about time to try them out. We were doing a catering to celebrate our companies anniversary. From the first phone conversation with Kate we were steered in the right direction. Not only did she spent a lot of time with us over the phone , we also spent time with her in the store figuring out exactly what we wanted. We were even privileged enough to have a tasting with the chef/owner, Gus Silivos. The event was a brunch celebration, allowing most of the employees to attend. Every single breakfast item we received was outstanding. Not only did we get mini muffins that were still hot, but mini brioches stuffed with eggs and bacon, that tasted like they had just come out of the oven. Really all of the food was incredible. The coffee they supplied was very tasty as well. The service was truly impeccable. They showed up early and took care of everything, the only thing we had to supply was the room and tables. Although they said they could do that as well if we needed them to. The staff that worked the party were very polite and attentive to everyone's needs. As the event neared the end and the food looked as if it was getting low, they even had someone bring more food just to make sure that no one went hungry. They are so professional that once everything had been cleared away you couldn't even tell we had a catering there. This is a huge plus because after other functions different caterers have left our place messy, causing us to have to spend time we do not have cleaning up after them.
