It’s my pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am Chef Carl Shipp; yet my clients affectionately refer to me as “Chef”. I am the creator and originator of the Cuisine of Love. This is INTENTIONAL INSPIRED COOKING. Tell me something about the person I’m cooking for or the guest of honor (or even the occasion itself) and I will create dishes or a menu inspired by that. I created this unique style of cooking to elevate the already soul-enriching experience of learning how to infuse meals with the energy of love standing next to my own African American grandmother and mother in our kitchen. Additionally, the process of meal and dish creation is influenced by my personal life experience of travelling around the world. Through incorporating a variety of international spices and organically learned preparation techniques from a variety of diverse cultures, I have crafted an art to food fusion that is beyond simply “American” Fusion or Soul Food. My fusion is the fusion of love, because love is global. Love is spoken and expressed in all languages. Love breaks all barriers. Given that everybody needs love and everybody eats, it would be my pleasure to personally introduce to the Cuisine of Love. I cater intimate dinners for two, corporate events or luncheon, and large banquets and weddings.
