Recently nominated as Best Jazz Vocalist for the 2018 Coachella Valley Music Awards, Francesca Amari is an award-winning, versatile singer of all genres from Palm Springs, CA, who has performed at top-rated cabaret clubs from New York to Hollywood, including Birdland Jazz Club, the Metropolitan Room and the 92nd Street Y in NYC and The Gardenia, Catalina Jazz Club, The Mbar, Rockwell Table, the E Spot in Hollywood & Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego; earning rave reviews for her entertaining cabaret shows. For 7 years, she’s toured the country with her critically-acclaimed Gilda Radner tribute, and locally, performs weekly at AJ’s on the Green, "A Toast to the Stars Variety Show" and PS Underground; as well as appearing at other area venues like The Purple Room, Melvyn's and more. Francesca appeared in the AZ, FL & PA Non-Equity premieres of “Midlife! The Crisis Musical” by Broadway veteran brothers Bob and Jim Walton. She recently won rave reviews and a Desert Theatre League (DTL) award for best actress as star Reno Sweeny of Palm Canyon Theatre’s production of “Anything Goes;” and received a DTL nomination for best professional Musical Theatre Performer (“Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class”).
