We know your event is very important and we’re honored to have the opportunity to host it at Travelers Rest. We believe that a catered event can and should have delicious food elegantly presented by a friendly knowledgeable staff. From the first hors d’oeuvre through dessert and everything in between, we strive to make your event one that you and your guests will remember fondly. Every event is unique, we listen carefully to what you’re hoping to accomplish. We then strive to design your special day according to your wishes. It may include some or all of the following; decorations, custom rentals, vendors of outside services and of course a delicious customized menu. The original structure which houses Travelers Rest dates back to the late 1880’s when it was a popular stop along the stagecoach route between New York City and environs. Through the years it has been renovated and expanded to the state of the art facility we have today. We have multiple event rooms spanning in excess of 7,000 square feet with varying capacities. Our beautiful outdoor gardens have a waterfall, bridge and babbling brook. We’re confident that we can accommodate your event to your satisfaction. Our Geothermal heating and cooling is energy efficient and environmentally friendly. Each room operates on a stand-alone basis with no air mixing between event spaces. We have hospital grade air filtration and Ultra-Violet disinfection for air as well as our water. Our water is tested daily to adhere to strict Board of Health guidelines. We’re a family run business and we’ve been involved in high-end event catering for over 25 years. We enjoy traveling and experiencing great food around the world.
