Misty shot her first wedding at the young age of seventeen and knew instantly it was going to be a lifetime career for her. That was twenty five years ago. Fast forward ten years later and her husband, partner and best friend Nelio joined the team. It was creativity overload at the Miotto house and so it was no big surprise when their oldest daughter Jordan also decided to join the team in 2014. Together they have a combined 44 years of experience in the wedding industry. Their studio currently shoots on average of 75-100 weddings a year and they have had the honor and privilege of phoographing over 1,400 weddings to date. Misty has dedicated a lifetime to providing timeless memories to her couples and is deeply honored and moved to have won, with her husband and daughter, so many awards and accolades over the years doing something they truly love. Some of these awards include being voted Best Photographer in Central Florida by Wesh 2 A-List, being inducted into the Knot "Best of Weddings" Hall of Fame in 2015 and having won the Wedding Wire Couples choice awards every year consecutively since 2011 when the competition first started. From lavish celebrity events to small intimate destination weddings the Miotto's have had the privilege of photographing special occasions both big and small all over the world. Their work has been published both nationally and internationally and can be seen in magazines and on popular wedding blogs all across the globe. In addition to their love for photography Misty is also a mentor and child advocate to the homeless and orphaned children of Central Florida. She has dedicated her entire adult life to helping give a voice to the voiceless through empowerment classes, mentorship, public speaking and advocating for Florida's most vulnerable children. Misty is also the Director of the Heart Gallery of Central Florida which works to promote domestic adoption and helps to find families for the orphaned children of CFL. Misty and Nelio have also adopted four children of their own from fostercare.
