About NIU Lorado Taft Field Campus
Our peaceful field campus provides the perfect setting for outdoor education activities as well as conferences, meetings, and retreats. Your group will enjoy our beautiful natural areas, comfortable facilities and delicious food service.
We're open year-round to groups of up to 160 people. Some of the groups we've welcomed for events and retreats include: Elementary and middle school classes, Peer leadership groups, Scrapbooking and other craft groups, University groups, High school athletic teams, and Church groups.
Located 35 miles west of DeKalb in Oregon, Illinois, we're easy to find. We'll provide the setting and support you need to make your next event a success.
