About Portage Point Resort
Portage Point Resort is a special place for your special event. This secluded destination resort has been a favorite vacation spot since opening in 1903. We are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Our banquet room, with pictures windows, offers a wonderful view looking three miles east across Portage Lake. In the middle of the room is a large hardwood dance floor and stage. Attached via the double French doors is the bar area. The main banquet room can seat up to 250 people. You can also have outdoor events and ceremonies on the lawn in front of the beach and Portage Lake. Your guests can stay right on property, choosing from one to four bedroom cottages and condominiums. If you or your guest would like to bring a boat, we have slip rentals on site. You and your guests also have access to the beautiful sand beaches on Lake Michigan just a short walk to the west. This historic Inn is the perfect location to create memories of your special day.
