About Timber Rock Lodge

Timber Rock Lodge is the ideal location for you to call home while you explore the area, relax, or host your special event. You are invited to enjoy our property, conveniently located in the town of Oneida, TN between entrances to Big South Fork National Park and the Daniel Boone National Forest. You can hold your wedding and/or reception indoors, outdoors or both! We also have the added advantage of being a working Inn, so your out-of-town guests or wedding party can enjoy staying with us for the night of your event, the weekend or for multiple days to enjoy the area. We would love to be the chosen location for your reunion, board meeting, holiday party, anniversary party, graduation celebration, special birthday, wedding or baby shower. The Balcony is open to the Great Hall and can be used as additional reception seating, musicians, or photographers. It can also be used as an open but stand-alone space for a small meeting. It is accessed by a staircase just outside the entrance to the Great Hall. The Balcony conveniently has a small restroom attached.

The Conservatory is a beautiful and unique western exposure room featuring a stunning half round windowed area with a fieldstone archway, log walls with stucco and half-timber accents, beamed ceiling and a stone fireplace. It’s a large space that can feel very intimate. Perfect for ceremonies, receptions, parties, meetings and gatherings.

The Courtyard is an outdoor space surrounded on three sides by the beautiful architecture of the Lodge and is a wonderful locale to host ceremonies, receptions or parties. Highlights include a water feature and petite log gazebo. This large outdoor patio can flow easily into the adjoining garden, the Great Hall and Lounge beyond. There is easy access to restrooms just inside.

The Great Hall is located on the first floor and is distinguished by its dramatic floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace with a heavy timber mantle and restored herringbone hardwood floors. With two story, beamed cathedral ceiling featuring skylights and two large iron chandeliers, the room is ideally suited for weddings, receptions, cocktail parties, corporate events, large group presentations and larger parties such as reunions, holidays, anniversaries and special birthdays. Can easily be opened up to join with the Balcony, Lounge and/or the Courtyard areas for larger events.

The Lounge is a spacious but intimate area for smaller gatherings or as an open extension of the Great Hall. It’s the perfect space for a smaller gathering, to set up food service, or a buffet for the Great Hall or Conservatory. Features a beautiful wood ceiling and a baby grand piano that can also be moved to the Great Hall or Conservatory if desired for use during your event. A smaller bathroom is conveniently located in the Lounge.

The Patio is an outdoor space on the north lawn and is wonderful flagstone patio to host ceremonies, receptions or parties. Highlights include view of the forest, the Pavilion and amazing sunsets in the fall and winter. This large outdoor patio is accessed from the Lodge via the lawn or through the Antler Hallway.

The Pavilion is located on the north side of the Lodge on the side lawn. It’s a large format log half structure with a roof and wooden platform floor. It’s backed by a large sweeping lawn and is ideally suited for a wedding ceremony, smaller party, concert or any number of gatherings where being outside is desired. Late evening gatherings can enjoy lovely sunset views through the trees.
