About Ojai Valley of the Moon Event Space

Centrally located in Downtown Ojai, tucked away off the main retail avenue & adjacent to Libbey Park Fountain. This event space is unique with its ability to have loud music & dancing go past 10PM. We are typically an 'after hours' event space 8PM to 11PM that is ready for your wedding reception or birthday dance floor party. The DJ + Sound + Lighting is a mandatory inclusion since Sound Source Ojai manages the venue specifically for special events that want a DJ. You can hire your own DJ or let Sound Source OJai rock the party. There is an option to add a separate bar space that is connected to the large, open air, wrap around patio, this adds 60 persons to the capacity & brings a full bar lounge to the party. We do have the option for earlier hours, this becomes a Restaurant Buyout. We have buffet & appetizer catering menus. We are an accessible, budget friendly option compared to other Downtown Ojai event spaces with catering. If there is something you need for your special event, let us know! This is a dance floor oriented venue, for special events that wish to have DJ Music, bar service & catering. Typical event hours are 8PM to 11PM (with option to go later), we do offer restaurant hour buyouts for earlier event hours as well. We have a beautiful open air wrap around patio with large 'dance floor' inside the restaurant. We offer catering menus & bar service. Sound Source Ojai manages the events at this venue. There is an entertainment fee that includes DJ, Sound System & Event Lighting. Sound Source DJs play or if you prefer your own DJ this is fine, entertainment fee remains the same. The entertainment fee is budget friendly in comparison to other DJ Service rates in the area. Loud Music is allowed after 10PM at this venue. www.soundsourceojai.com insta: @soundsourceojai The Restaurant & patio are available to rent for 100 person capacity event. This is the 'dance floor' space with outdoor patio & satellite bar service. The Bar is an additional space available to add & is connected to the Restaurant by the large wrap around patio, It is a separate space that can also be rented for a complete venue takeover of the venue for a full 140 person capacity. Catering & bar service is available on a food & beverage minimum rental fee. EVERY EVENT - Tax + 20% standard service fee is added to each bill + the entertainment/ event management fee (DJ, Sound + Lighting www.soundsourceojai.com) We have an attached parking lot, as well as street parking. We are adjacent to Libbey Park Fountain.

Centrally located in Downtown Ojai, tucked away off the main retail, dining and entertainment area. This event space is unique with its ability to go past 10PM - with music & dancing! The Restaurant capacity is 100, the Bar capacity is 40. Both can be rented for a 140 person event. The Bar room with patio is connected to the restaurant by a wrap around patio. The Restaurant can be emptied of tables & chairs to create an open space for a standing event, dance party with DJ or Acoustic Music. The patio is large & perfect for entertaining. The Restaurant's next door neighbor is Libbey Park. We offer event coordinator, staff, catering, sound, lighting, DJ, Acoustic & other performance - all through trusted local vendors. If there is something you need for your special event, let us know! We love to make it happen!
