Nick Vacca is a professional DJ/MC and is happy to provide music for your event. He has entertained for an extensive variety of organizations and companies, as well as hundreds of Weddings.
Nick has been playing keyboards since he was nine and has an extensive knowledge of music. He is an accomplished musician, composer and music producer. Nick started his deejay career in a club in 1988 and has never looked back. In 1994 he took a job at a large deejay company which gave him formal event training. He learned how to read a crowd quickly and play a variety of music making him a local favorite. He mastered private parties, then weddings. Nick also has a great technical background including computers, sound equipment setup and has designed and setup many sound systems for entertainers throughout New England. Being a self proclaimed “tech head”, Nick is on top of the curve with the latest and greatest equipment. He also engineers and produces radio ads for the “Original Wedding Expo”. Further adding to his lists of talents Nick has accomplished programming “DMX intelligent” light shows for our biggest events including several at Foxwoods and Twin Rivers Casinos. In addition Nick has done extensive work as a road event disc jockey for CBS Radio stations Mix 104.1.
Nick got married in 2009 to his beautiful wife Kathy who works for the Department of Defense. This took him to Germany in 2009, where he quickly gained a reputation as a true professional by taking on a variety of events he never knew existed. Change of command ceremonies, Army & Navy Balls, European and Africa Command parties with secret service protection, Garrison- wide events like Culture night, and the annual July of 4th Family Day where he entertained all day along with providing the music mix for the fireworks. Nick also became a local favorite at a German pub near his house and managed to book some German weddings where he spoke with an interpreter. He was the go to event personality for USAFRICOM’s General Ward.
In 2013 he moved to Djibouti, Djibouti on the African continent with his wife. He volunteered for Navy Entertainment and it landed him a full time job. He was the lead sound engineer for all of the USO events at Camp Lemonnier while providing music as well. He did Karaoke every Friday night and monthly theme nights for our troops stationed in Djibouti. Nick is proud of his service to our military and has many awards to show for it.
