About The Barn at Fresh City Farms
Fresh City has farmed at Downsview Park in Toronto for eleven growing seasons. In 2022 Fresh City launched an 11-acre urban farm that is a diverse, vibrant and dynamic space welcoming local and broader communities.
The site features a 1,900 sq.ft. event space, The Barn, which can host seated dinners, wedding, corporate functions and community events. The Barn is designed as a modern interpretation of an Ontario barn, and features a pitched roof, vertical wood siding and sliding barn doors that open on all four sides. Overlooking the lake at Downsview Park, the courtyard of The Barn is the perfect location to capture your special moments.
Please note - we are not hosting weddings at The Barn for the foreseeable future.

The best people to work with and beautiful space. It is hard to get a barn venue in the city. Even harder to find a stunning state-of-the-art venue with an incredible running organic farm, views of ponds and hills, as well as, a transit system for guests to get home safe. I am biased because I love all the farmers and communities that work out of this space but it is truly beautiful and everyone has been incredible to work with.
