We hosted the Rehearsal Dinner here 2 months ago as my son married an Augusta gal, Kaitlyn Frits. Our 75 guests, which included many of my Northern relatives, were delighted by the elegant & pleasing atmosphere inside & out. The rainfall for the day did not allow us to use the side courtyard as much as we had planned. We had ample room inside the Camellia Room for our catered food buffet tables as well as a cake and 2 beverage tables. Beth & Mike Frits & their friends did a superior job decorating the tables to heighten the splendor of the event! My son, the groom, stayed at the Lookaway Inn for his 2 days before the wedding while I stayed 4 nights. WE thank Mary and John @ Lookaway for helping us throw a great Rehearsal Dinner, and also have a wonderful, memorable, inspiring stay with breakfast in the great dining room at this historic inn! Thank you, THANK YOU!
Everything was great from start to finish. The owners were extremely helpful. Of course everything was new because this facility was just completed in April. The prices were beyond reasonable! I would highly recommend.
