Built in 1937, the McRitchie-Hollis Museum lends elegance to any affair. It features a stunning two-story foyer with a sweeping curved staircase and hand-painted mural. The formal living and dinning rooms offer gracious proportions, beautiful mantles and abundant natural light. The rich architectural details seen throughout the house make this a truly special venue. Our charming side garden and gazebo serve as the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding and the spacious front lawn with mature magnolia trees is ideal for outdoor seating.
In 2012, the McRitchie-Hollis Museum underwent a million dollar restoration to return this stately home to its full grandeur. Retaining classic features such as hardwood floors, original crystal chandeliers and a vintage kitchen, the house is able to meet the needs of the twenty-first century. It includes a separate catering kitchen, abundant paved parking, and Wi-Fi access making it an ideal venue for any event. The McRitchie-Hollis Museum can comfortably accommodate 50 guests indoors and larger events with the use of our outdoor space.
The McRitchie-Hollis Museum is perfect for weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, showers, portrait sessions, fundraising and holiday events.
