IWM’s Studio del Gusto is a state-of-the-art wine tasting facility and learning laboratory for those seeking to enrich their knowledge of Italy’s wine, food, and culture. The perfect setting for private and corporate events, Studio del Gusto exudes the warmth of true Italian hospitality, a space where guests enjoy a delicious gourmet-inspired tasting menu and experience exceptional wines from our unparalleled collection. Our Director of Events will work with you to help create a memorable evening, preparing a customized menu that comprises both wine and food selections that are based on your preferences and budget. During the event, our culinary team and lead sommelier will briefly discuss the history and preparation of the Italian food courses, the origin and characteristics of the wines, and the nature of each pairing. A sommelier is available throughout the evening for further discussion with your guests. Tasting events at Studio del Gusto can accommodate between 20 and 120 guests (seated events are available for a maximum of 60 guests). Larger events for 75 to 120 guests include the use of our showroom—a space adorned with beautiful wine displays and old world ambiance. This space, which simulates the conditions of a private wine cellar, provides the setting for intimate wine tasting events with elegance and sophistication. Honor the passion of the wine lover who embraces all of the elements of wine’s culture and aesthetic properties with the exquisite and unparalleled experience of a Vintage Room tasting event. The selected program will acclimate tasters to the oftentimes mystifying wines of Italy by illustrating the contrast between modern and traditional winemaking styles, providing an incisive introduction to these collectible wines.
