My college roommate had her wedding reception last spring at the amazing Glass Houses and it was absolutely spectacular. It was the most beautiful site for a wedding that I have ever personally been to or even seen on TV for that matter. It is located in New York City and it is almost all glass. The location is amazing. When you are in parts of it you are able to see the beautiful waterfront views of lower Manhattan,Hudson River,and the Upper West Side of New York. The glass walls were floor to ceiling and the ceilings were over twelve foot. There were about one hundred and fifty people at the reception and there was more then enough room for the sit down dinner event. They supplied there own catering which make the planning a lot easier because you are able to just pick the food and not have to worry that they won't know how to work the venue or that they will not show up. There was plenty of room after the dinner for dancing. The entire place was spotless clean, even the bathrooms. There were even door men and parking attendants. All of the employees that I came into contact with were polite and knew exactly what they were doing and were able to help and answer any questions that came up. They were also really friendly to everyone. This would be a great place for anyone to have their wedding or other large get together if you are in the New York area.
