We recently photographed an engagement session at Unison's sculpture which provided a lot of outdoor eye candy. If you're looking for a venue that will provide a great backdrop for your event photography. this is something to keep in mind. There is a really cute bridal getting ready space here called "The Hideaway" which looks something like a little yurt. The gallery can serve as a space for your cocktail hour and there is room on the property for a tent to accommodate a large number of guests. Also, Helene and Stewart who run Unison are really great people to work with.

I've been to more than one shower event at Unison for family, and most recently hosted my best friend's bridal shower, and it went beautifully! The space is wide and bright, the walls are covered in artwork, and there is plenty of space for mingling. You can also take a stroll through the sculpture garden if you'd like and read up on shows and events they have coming up. The owners are lovely and accommodating and really value their space. I'd rent this space again in a heartbeat!

Unison is warm, welcoming and user friendly. The gallery was the perfect setting for our ceremony, and our guests were able to wander through the sculpture garden both before and after. The deck served as the perfect stage for the musicians as we all enjoyed being outdoors under shaded tents in this little gem of Shawangunks beauty.
