PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY The Venue requires a signed credit card authorization form to be on file for every event, regardless of form of payment at event close. The Client agrees to pay the food and beverage minimum as listed within the event order. Should The Client not reach this outlined minimum, Rue Bourbon will charge the remaining balance as a room rental fee. All private events are subject to 10.45% sales tax and a 20% service charge. The Venue requires a 50% deposit of the food and beverage minimum within one week of the contract signing for all events, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Event Manager and subsequently noted in the proposal. If the event is booked within 30 days of the event date, we require a 50% deposit to be paid on the same day as the contract signing. All deposits are nonrefundable. Should The Client cancel the contracted event within 30 days of the event date, The Client will be responsible for paying the food and beverage minimum in full. Exceptions to this policy will be on a strict case by case basis, and will only be due to emergency.
