The Whaling City Golf Course is a picturesque public golf course tucked away in the city of New Bedford, MA. We are conveniently located just off of Rt. 140, easily accessed from neighboring towns, and cities. Our function room can accommodate 50+ people for a sit-down meal and many more for cocktail parties. Additionally, when the weather is nice you can entertain outside on the scenic deck. We will provide you with a custom menu to fit your budget, simple, funky, or elegant. We have catering expertise from Hors d'oeuvres to specialty desserts and can provide a full bar or specialty drink selection for your special day as well. Meals can be served to your guests as individually plated courses, buffet, or family style. We will also work with you to get the linen colors, and tableware of your choice through our trusted vendors and we will completely customize your private function experience with you.
