COVID-19 All Interior Health Covid safety orders must be followed. Cancellation Policy Cancellation must be given 5 days prior to your rental date, or the rental amount will be payable in full. Damage & Clean-up NIC Event space must be returned to the order and state that it was found in prior to possession of the event host. This also means putting back any tables and chairs that you have set up and bag & tie any garbage that you may have accumulated. Please use provided cleaning supplies to clean the room and vacuum as needed. No pins or tacks are to be used on the walls. Any damage to the walls or building will result in the NIC invoicing your company for repairs. Event host is responsible for leaving the space clean and sanitized. If it is necessary for the NIC to perform general janitorial duties after your rental, the event host agrees to be responsible to pay an additional charge of $275.00 for cleaning. Cannabis, Smoking & Alcohol Smoking, vaping and any form of cannabis or tobacco consumption on the premises is strictly forbidden. Alcohol is permitted however the event organizer accepts full responsibility of ensuring the health and safety of their attendees, and ensures all legal requirements to serve alcohol are met. Facilities and Equipment The event host is welcome to utilise the kitchen facilities however must ensure all used dishes are loaded into the dishwasher and set to clean prior to departure. The kitchen must be left in a sanitary condition. Use of digital equipment is permitted however any damage caused during the rental period will result the event host being invoiced accordingly for repairs and/or any replacements. Keys & Fobs If keys and fobs are issued the responsibility is on the key/fob holder to keep them secure at all times. If any keys or electronic fobs issued are lost, the holder will incur a $500 replacement fee which includes security and administration costs. Food & Drink Food and drink is permitted however please ensure no food or drink items are left behind, and please dispose of any trash and recycling. Please clean and sanitise any surfaces after use. Health & Safety The event host is responsible for the health and safety of their guests and does not hold the NIC liable for any injuries or safety violations that may occur if guidelines are not adhered to.
