Utilizing special artisans and craftsmen in its construction, the Nathan Hall dining and event facility was designed to provide the same richly furnished look of the Manor House. Nearly 5,000-square-feet in size, Nathan Hall includes large windows, a dramatic fireplace mantle and 18-foot tray ceilings.Named after Rose Hill Estate’s Boddie ancestor and Rose Hill founder Nathan Boddie, Nathan Hall can be used to suit virtually any need — creating the wedding of your dreams, only limited by your imagination. Rose Hill Estate’s Ballroom, Nathan Hall can accommodate up to 245 plated guests with the dance floor still available. Nathan Hall also features a 20 by 29-foot dance floor which can be converted for other uses. The Nathan Hall dining area is 53 by 86 feet.

Perhaps the most distinctive feature of Rose Hill is the remarkable 18th-century Manor House. It stands apart from the rolling, scenic countryside and is a beautiful reminder of Southern charm and grace from a bygone era. The Manor House was built about 1790 by Nathan Boddie on farmland that was part of a land grant deeded to the family by King George II in 1762. The Manor House underwent an expansive renovation by the Boddie family beginning in 1979 to prepare it for modern use. Today it is a beautifully furnished facility sought out for unique, memorable events. The Manor House offers a variety of fully furnished rooms and parlors, many decorated in period antiques or with other unique accents. Each room has its own appeal for use with weddings and other special events as well as for business meetings and retreats. The beautifully paneled Gentlemen’s Room includes paneled 20-foot ceiling and conveys warmth and understated elegance. The Manor House also features six beautifully appointed upstairs bedrooms including a special bridal suite that can be used by newlyweds. A glass sunroom furnished in bright colors can seat up to 48 guests and has its own special appeal. The Manor House also features a Great Room that can accommodate small intimate gatherings, as well as larger events. Taken with the Manor House’s historic beauty, many bridal parties choose to step out from the Manor House’s front door onto the stately columned porch overlooking the beautiful wooded hills and pastures. From there they can proceed down the steps and walkway to the nearby bubbling fountain and circular drive.
