We booked Red Roof Farmhouse for graduation for our daughter and 4 other graduating seniors who all went to the same homeschool support school. We had a pre-graduation dinner for the families, a few friends and teachers inside and the ceremony for more guests outside. It was just perfect for this small group. We used the outside little platform hill for the walk and presentation. We choose to be dressy but playful. The teens who came to see their peers graduate enjoyed playing with some of the out door options for a bit as well. We had some wind to contend with but we had a wonderful time! We probably could not have hosted anything much bigger there, but with their additional parking option and the indoor/outdoor flexibility, we were able to make things work and the intimate setting for our Seniors was just right! I think this would be a super fun place to return for a small retreat!
Our surprise birthday party was a huge success. The venue was family friendly with great activities for kids and adults alike. It provided indoor and outdoor space all clean and well groomed. We were able to spend the night in nice accommodations.
We had a wonderful stay at red roof farmhouse. It was large enough to fit all of us. 14 adults and 9 kids. We had a lot of small kids from 2yo-11yo. We felt like there was so much to do between the trampoline, beach area and hot tub. They had a lot of fun and were able to stay busy which gave us the opportunity to catch up. Everyone was fairly comfortable. We highly recommend renting the whole house, bungalow and RV. That way, you have the entire space to yourself. We didn’t have to worry about sharing the amenities. There aren’t a lot of places that can accommodate our families all together. Everyone agreed this was a great space. I would recommend getting a virtual tour. It will help give you a better idea of how it is laid out. The road was fairly quiet. I would recommend bringing bug spray if you want to be outside after 8-9pm. We were also able to bring my elderly grandparents in (90yo) and it was a comfortable environment for them to be able to meet their great grandkids. They could stay on one level and there was also a bathroom on the main level they could use, along with comfortable seating. It was a great experience overall!
