We offer a fresh, and affordable, alternative to the staid family portraits of department stores. There is no charge for the photo shoot, you just buy the prints you choose. The trouble is, you’re going to want them all! ‘The world is our studio’ is the Sandprints motto. Our photographs celebrate the spirit of the Central Coast by choosing appropriate and stunning local outdoor locations for each shoot. From Cayucos to Morro Rock to Avila, including Montana de Oro, Sweet Springs Reserve and the bay in Los Osos. We also have an in-house studio (see photo), but watch out! Accidents can happen! Whether you are a local resident celebrating your 16th birthday, or tourist in town for the weekend, Sandprints can offer appointments 24/7. Last minute bookings are always welcome. How does it work? The day following each photo shoot, contact sheets of all the pictures taken are available for viewing at the store on Main Street or online. These professional art pictures can be purchased in five different sizes ranging from the standard 5x7 to the poster-size 20x30. All pictures are printed in black and white or colour on archival paper, using archival inks, guaranteeing a long life for these phenomenal, intimate art photos.
