DJ Service Agreement Terms Retainer Fee: A non-refundable retainer fee of 25% of the total booking amount is required at the time of booking. This fee reserves the DJ services for your specified event date. Final Payment: The remaining balance of the payment must be made at least 3 days prior to the event date. Failure to complete payment by this deadline will result in the cancellation of services without refund of the retainer fee. Outdoor Events: To ensure the safety and functionality of our equipment, we do not set up in outdoor locations exposed to weather conditions that could damage equipment (e.g., rain, snow, direct sunlight without shade, or extreme temperatures). Should the event be outdoors, a suitable covered area or alternate indoor setup must be provided. If no adequate cover is available, services may be canceled without refund. Cancellation Policy: If you choose to cancel the booking, the retainer fee is non-refundable. For cancellations within 3 days of the event, no refund will be provided for any payments made. Rescheduling: Rescheduling is subject to availability. If rescheduled within 14 days of the original event date, a new retainer fee may apply. Setup and Breakdown Time: The DJ will require at least 1 hour for setup and 1 hour for breakdown. Please ensure access to the event space is available at least 1 hour before the event start time. Electrical Requirements: The client must provide access to at least two reliable 120-volt electrical outlets within 25 feet of the DJ setup location. These outlets should be dedicated to the DJ equipment to avoid any electrical interruptions during the event. Equipment Protection: The client is responsible for providing a safe environment for the DJ and equipment. If the venue has any risks (such as wet floors, crowded spaces, or hazardous areas), the client must inform the DJ in advance and take necessary precautions. Damage to equipment caused by guest negligence may result in additional charges. Event Delays: If the event start time is delayed due to the client or venue issues, this does not extend the end time of the DJ services unless agreed upon in writing. Additional time may be added at the DJ’s discretion and will be billed at the agreed-upon hourly rate. Guest Conduct: The DJ reserves the right to discontinue performance if guests engage in behavior that is dangerous, illegal, or disruptive, or if the DJ’s equipment or person is at risk. No refund will be provided if service is discontinued due to such conduct. Force Majeure: In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the DJ’s control (such as extreme weather, power outages, natural disasters, or accidents), the DJ may reschedule or cancel services without penalty. The retainer fee may be applied to a rescheduled date if mutually agreed upon by both parties. Photography and Video Release: The DJ may take photos or videos of the setup and/or event for promotional purposes. If the client prefers no recording, please inform the DJ in writing prior to the event. Liability Limitations: The DJ is not liable for any injury or damage that occurs as a result of guest behavior, equipment tampering, or venue hazards. The client assumes responsibility for any claims arising from the event. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.
