About The Inn
The INN is a perfect venue for unconventional weddings, rehearsal dinners, welcome receptions, showers, bachelorette/bachelor parties, business and family retreats, bike clubs, motorcycle clubs, car clubs, birthdays, private parties and any intimate event, organized by someone discerning and appreciative of fine accommodations, food and drink, and a quirky yet sophisticated and elegant atmosphere.
The INN itself is a historic, rambling 7,000-square foot former lumber baron's home built in 1890, complete with an attached carriage house and views of the nationally designated “wild and scenic” Trout River flowing out back. It has been renovated with great care from stem to stern, creating a warm, inviting space that embraces guests with surprising amenities, décor, and special touches at every turn. It is an eleven-room boutique hotel, with a fantastic bar and gourmet restaurant in the heart of Montgomery Center, a picturesque yet quirky ski town just down the road from the ever-growing Jay Peak, four-season resort.
