My husband and I have been very happy with Monroe Florist. They they have been our florist for a number of different events that we have had. They are very conveniently located in Monroe MI, across from Kroger's on Monroe Street. Their parking lot is even inviting, as is their showroom which displays their very creative efforts. They usually have a handwritten local newsy sign in front of their building, and lots of flowers in their clear curved windows which are very visible from the street. Our first encounter was in 2006, when my husband's aunt passed, and we hosted the wake for her at our house which is also in Monroe, Michigan. They had a number of great arrangements for us on short notice, including a very cool one on the buffet food table. It was a late summer and the pinks and purples were spectacular, and it helped to make a difficult time much better. They really listened to what we thought we needed, made very wise suggestions, worked with our budget, and delivered everything. We also needed flowers last year for a Christmas party that we had for quite a few people. We have adult children with significant others, and the live flowers from Monroe Florist were really good for the conversation and look of our house. As before, we needed some great flowers for our food table, as well as poinsettias for the entranceway and other common areas. Their flowers and other floral arrangements decorated our tree and kitchen area. The poinsettias were the best I have seen, and they lasted for nearly six months. I have also called them when I needed flowers sent to someone for a special occasion, like my mom's birthday in October. The flowers are long-lasting and very pretty.
