Genesis Event Studio Checklist - Kitchen must be returned to the same state it was given - Everything must be cleaned and cleared by agreed end time (After that time there will be a charge of $50.00 per half hour) - All garbage must be put in garbage bags and tied - Please ensure guests park in areas marked “Visitor Parking” - No food or drink outside - ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE BUILDING - Liquor licence is required if liquor will be served. If there is no liquor licence provided and any liquor is seen inside of the property the security deposit will be forfeited RENTAL/EQUIPMENT DAMAGE: - Client is liable for any damage to the event space, rentals, and/or equipment that is caused by your guests -Please note that the value of each damaged item(s) will be determined by Genesis Event Studio and will be deducted from security deposit. If damages exceed security deposit amount, client is required to pay the balance. DEPOSIT: • Genesis Event Studio is not booked until BOOKING DEPOSIT is made. • Dates and times are not held and is first come first serve • BOOKING DEPOSIT is NON-REFUNDABLE • Payment must be paid at time of signing contract. • Genesis Event Studio will not sign contract unless BOOKING deposit has been received. • SECURITY DEPOSITY of $500.00 is required for all bookings. • SECURITY DEPOSIT will be returned in full once the space has been inspected, and deemed to be in good condition • Once booking deposit has been made event date will be secured and set up is guaranteed, but please note that access to event space will not be granted until final payment and security deposit has been made. CANCELLATION: If the Client cancels the event less than 7 days prior to the scheduled event date, the Client will forfeit 100% of any payment made except for security deposit. If security deposit has been paid it will be refunded • Cancellation by the Venue?: The venue reserves the right to cancel the reservation under circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, or other emergencies. In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund of any payments made, without any additional compensation or liability. • Rescheduling?: In the event that the Client wishes to reschedule the event, the Venue will attempt to accommodate the request, subject to availability. If rescheduling occurs after 14 days of the original event date, a 10% rescheduling fee will apply.
