Group Service Options at the Minturn Saloon We have been doing memorable corporate and family events for over 40 years. We know what it takes to please the guest and the event organizers, helping them host a wonderful party. 1) Private Party - Take over the entire restaurant for your party! We can accommodate about 130 people inside and up to about 160 people if our outdoor riverside deck is incorporated. The main dining room seats 70 for full service. The bar area seats an additional 43 guests. For groups of approximately 75 or less we can offer a regular table service with a fixed or choice menu, or buffet service. For larger groups, buffet service is likely to be recommended. We have great flexibility when it comes to menu formation. Food and drink minimum pricing for a private party is determined according to the day of the week and the month of the year. 2) Private Party on the outdoor deck only - We can offer this option to groups of approximately 60 guests for cocktail party configuration or about 40 guests for seated dinner. Our outdoor riverside deck has a retractable awning to help provide cover from afternoon sun or rain showers. Pricing is determined along the lines of the private party but with only the deck in mind. We typically use a buffet style of service on the deck. We also develop a back-up plan in case of a rare bad weather day. 3) Closure of the dining room to Public for the first 2 hours of the evening (seasonal) – This option is not generally available during ski season. A group can take over the dining room for the first seating of the evening. The dining room normally seats 92 people. There is a fee for the dining room closure dependent upon the time of the year and the size of the group. There will also be a minimum food and bar expenditure established. Style of service and menu vary with the size of the group. After two hours the Minturn Saloon dining room will be open to regular customers and tables will have to be made available if needed. The party is welcome to adjourn to the bar or deck. The bar and deck remain open to the public throughout the evening. 4) Regular group service - The Minturn Saloon handles large groups on a nightly basis as part of our normal service. Groups should work out the details with us in advance. There is flexibility when it comes to menu design - our regular menu, The Minturn Saloon "limited menu", or a specially conceived menu for your group. Buffet service is not available in the dining room when we are open to the public. There are no special fees. 5) Private Apes-ski Party - Your group can finish a great day of skiing by enjoying après-ski at the Minturn Saloon, declared by Men’s Journal as one of the “Best après-ski bar in the world”. Enjoy drinks and appetizers while exchanging stories about a great ski day whether you skied the world-famous Minturn Mile or not! Groups of 30 to 100 people can use our dining room as their private après-ski space. Available most weeks of the ski season from 3:00 to 5:00pm. 6) Private Luncheon – Though the Minturn Saloon serves lunch to the public only on Minturn Market Saturdays in the summer, we are available to be contracted for private lunch service. Lunch service can be combined with use of the Minturn Saloon as a meeting space. Minimum group size of 30 people.
