Utepils offer semi-private event reservations in the Overlook Space, located outside in the Beer Garden (weather permitting) and we offer paid table reservations in our Fernweh Taproom for group, non-private events.
This semi-private space offers beautiful views to enjoy during your next private event. Perched on the hillside overlooking Bassett Creek (hence the name), this gathering space provides a serene experience separate from the rest of the Beer Garden.

Terms & Conditions:
Upon arrival, a tab will be opened and a credit card from Client will be needed and used to close out payments at the end of the event based on the items determined on the Contract.
Utepils Brewing Company does not invoice customers and full payment is required at the conclusion of the event.
If for any reason the Client does not pay the tab and the end of the night, Utepils reserves the right to charge the card we have on file.
Damage/Decorating Guidelines:
Decorating is encouraged. However, we do not allow the following: Helium filled or Latex balloons, glitter, streamers, confetti, silly string, use of duct tape, small cadies like M&Ms or peanuts, feather boas, or anything excessively difficult to clean up or can cause damage to surfaces. If these items are used, up to a $250 cleaning charge will be added to your bill at the discretion of Utepils Brewing Company.
All decorations must be hung with the use of a 3M or other non-damaging adhesive.
Utepils reserves the right to charge an appropriate damage/cleaning charge if the condition of the event space after the event deems it necessary. For example: excessive food on floor, damage to walls, tabletops or chairs, and theft of any items owned by the brewery.
Event Start Times:
Utepils honors start and end times of private events. We reserve the right to open the taproom at our discretion prior to events. Private event space will be cleaned, ready and available at the designated time of set up per the event contract. Arrival times to be determined with sales manager prior to event.
Vacate Times:
Utepils Brewing Company closes Monday-Saturday at 10pm, Sunday at 8pm. These times may change at the discretion of Utepils at any time and without notice. All guests must vacate and all tabs must be closed out and settled by closing time.
Catering/Clean-up:
Client and/or their vendors are responsible for the set-up of any items brought in from the outside (additional tables, catering equipment, etc.).
Utepils tables may be moved during private events. The Client is responsible for the movement of the tables with approval from Utepils team on the event date. Tables must be moved back to their original location at event conclusion.
The Client is responsible for the takedown of any and all equipment brought in by outside contracted vendors.
If Client uses a Licensed Catering Company to host additional liquor, those items must be served by that company and are only allowed to be served in the designated space and not allowed outside, or in Utepils Taproom. Notification/Approval and proof of License of the catering/beverage company may be requested by Sales Manager.
All trash receptacles will be the responsibility of Utepils staff. Any additional trash receptacles used by outside catering staff for food disposal need to be removed by catering staff or Client prior to event closure. Excessive cleaning or trash may result in the previously mentioned cleaning charge listed above at $250.
Utepils Brewing Company will not charge anything to any card prior to the event date listed, as all payments are made day of the event in person by Client.
Utepils offers a semi-private 1,100 square foot space for private gatherings. This welcoming room has become a Twin Cities favorite, thanks in part to our salvaged, traditional Irish Bar. This oak pub is the focal point, providing a classic touch and warm ambiance to enjoy all night long.
We have updated the space to have a bright and beautiful glass storefront, adding a perfect open-air vibe. Private bar service is available with a full selection of our beloved European-style beers. And, of course, our full beer collection is always available at the Main Taproom Bar.
Fun fact: We originally used this space as our beer warehouse. Even though we brainstormed other names, its garage location – Bay 10 – has just stuck!
