My personal recommendation for a great place to hose an event or meeting is at the Double Tree in Bloomington Minnesota. I have used this hotel for many meetings as well as big events in the past. The meeting rooms on the top floor are not only convent for everyone to find but also have a breath taking view of the city. They will supply you with everything you need from media equipment to paper to water. The service they have is defiantly some of the best I've ever seen anything you need they help you for your meeting to go off with out a hitch. This is also a great hotel for large scale events. I have used this particular hotel for events that catered to more then 350 people. It ran flawlessly if we ever hit a glitch they were there in an instant to help us out. We also used there catering services. There food was amazing as well as the execution was flawless. This hotel is located in a very active area there are at least three restaurants with in walking distance from the front door. On top of that you are just a short car ride away from some of the best day trips you can take in Minnesota. Located right by Minneapolis you are close enough to go and enjoy a dinner out or even the fantastic night life that the city has to offer. It is also a close drive to the Mall of America one of the biggest tourist destinations in the state let alone the largest mall in the country with it's own amusement park. If amusement parks are your thing you are also close enough to drive to Valley Fair Minnesota's largest amusement park hosting six full scale roller coasters along with many other thrills. If it's winter and you still want to enjoy the outside weather it is also close to the Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area where you can take in the Minnesota winter for all it's worth. This is defiantly a place to hold your event from the great staff, to amazing food, to all that you can do in the area you won't regret it.
