Holy Wisdom Monastery provides a professional wedding coordinator to oversee or assist with the rehearsal and the wedding. Couples make their own arrangement for an officiant. Our wedding coordinator can provide a list of officiants from various denominations. Couples are also welcome to provide their own musicians and personalized music selections to make the day unique. Couples may choose a four-hour block of time for a wedding anytime between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. Couples may schedule the ceremony any day of the week if the requested space is available. Rehearsals are usually scheduled for the evening preceding the ceremony. The Assembly Room seats up to 300. We also have outdoor locations on the monastery grounds that are perfect for ceremonies up to 300 guests as well. Holy Wisdom Monastery offers the unique service of always reserving a comparable indoor space at no additional cost just in case the weather turns inclement for an outdoor ceremony.
