I recently had my wedding and reception here and it was very nice. The room was done with white lights and the entire staff handled the tables, linens, mini pumpkin place holders and all of my color requests. My mother placed the flowers though. The bar was in another room which allowed the line to be long and stay out of the way of the dance floor, although it was big enough to handle it anyway. We had a DJ rather than live music so we saved money there and they did have a great place for the DJ to set all of his gear that was out of the way but not too far. The establishment requires that they cater the event so I made sure I picked a place that served reasonable food. Each table was equipped with a large pitcher of ice water, a pot of coffee with plenty of cream, sugar and sugar substitute, The main entrees were served family style with roast beef, ham, garlic mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, a mixed vegetable dishes, asparagus and fresh rolls in a cute basket. It all came with desert of sherbet or ice cream which went nicely with the wedding cake. For twice the price, there was plenty of food for everyone. As for the scenery, it was nice but not spectacular. The ballroom has a view of the surrounding greens. The price is fairly reasonable at about $40.00 per person and there is ample parking for even really large weddings. If I had to do it all over again (thank goodness I do not) I would easily pick this location again.
