Agreement Terms and Conditions A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total wedding package or event is required at the time of contract to reserve the event date and time. A monthly payment plan is available upon request. We accept personal checks, cash, and any major credit cards for payment. The balance is due no later than 30 days before the wedding date or event. If the balance is not paid in full by the deadline, the wedding date and time will be released. Sherwood Forest Faire will then be relieved of all responsibility to provide facilities and/or services until a new agreement is made. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Rental of the facility includes the services of a Professional Bridal and or event Consultant to assist with the details. If Additional services are requested, additional agreements may be added to this contract. If a written notice of cancellation is received 30 days or more before the planned event, then any money Paid towards the wedding will be refunded, less the 10% deposit. No refunds will be made for weddings cancelled less than 30 days before the date of the event. Your wedding or at Sherwood Forest Faire is agreed to be a Rain or Shine event. No refunds or rescheduling will be done due to inclement weather unless the Park must be closed due to weather conditions. We will have rain contingency plan prepared in case of rain. If additional food or beverages are needed on the day of the wedding or event, they will be limited to what we can provide based on stock and preparation time. Any additional food or beverages provided for guests, over the amount paid prior to the event day, will be charged to your account immediately following the event. You are free to hire a photographer or videographer of your choice. Sherwood also has a list of photographers that we can contact. Please be advised that commercial photography, video, and filming activities are conducted at Sherwood Forest Faire. Entry into the Park and/or the pur- chase of a ticket constitutes consent for Sherwood Forest Faire to use the resulting pictures, videos, and films with- out compensation to anyone featured in these images. The Bride and Groom or event party agree to comply with all laws of the State of Texas, the City of Paige, and Bastrop County. The Bride and Groom or event party further agree to assume all liability for all damages, theft, and/or loss to Sherwood Forest Faire as related to their wedding activities. In addition, the bride and groom, will defend, indemnify, and hold harm- less Sherwood Forest Faire, its owner, officers, employees, agents, and shareholders from all liability or damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees resulting from claims, demands, costs, or judgments arising from or out of any occurrence in, upon, or at the premises, regardless of who asserts such claim. In case of dispute, Participant hereby waives the right to a jury trial or a trial in the justice system of Texas, the Unit- ed States, or any other legal jurisdiction. Rather, Participant agrees to take such an accusation to an arbiter chosen by the American Arbitration Association and agrees to accept the arbiter’s ruling as final. This Contract contains the entire agreement between the parties relating to the use of the premises and there are no prior representations, warranties, or understandings, verbal, or otherwise, between the parties except set out in this Contract.
