Perched on a hilltop in the western North Carolina mountains and within an easy drive of Asheville and all its attractions, this lovely home serves as a welcoming “home base” for your gathering, and its grounds offer plenty of room to host all phases of your celebration.
A wedding at Stony Woods Estate can be a large party or a super-intimate affair. Say "I do" perched on a hilltop, steps away from the home, then dine and dance on the private lawn, surrounded by mountains and forest.
Your closest family and friends can find lodging at Stony Woods in our??Treesort??(treehouse cabins), making it a perfect place for a destination wedding! Rent just the Villa or the entire property for your event.
Our event charge includes the use of our tent, tables, chairs, arch (with setup and takedown) plus an array of day-of services. We try to include everything that you need so you can arrive, decorate, and enjoy your day.
The Estate is 40 minutes from the tourist-friendly town of Asheville and less than an hour from the Asheville Regional Airport.
A separate Bridal Suite at the Villa, complete with full mini-kitchen, living room and full bath, provides a charming and comfortable area for the couple and attendants to prepare for the wedding.
The property offers several scenic backdrops for ceremonies and photographs.

Where do I begin!!!! Our experience with Stony Woods Estate was incredible. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Kim and Steve are incredibly detailed, caring, talented, and professional. They did everything in their power to ensure our wedding was perfect. The property is STUNNING. The villa was the perfect lodging for our best friends for the weekend. Our family filled the cabins around the property and loved their lodging as well. Our wedding guests raved about the property and entire wedding experience. My social media has been full of guests' photos with the mountains. I could not recommend this venue more. We feel so lucky to have found it and had Kim and Steve on our team for the wedding.
