About The Emerald Woods
The Emerald Woods is an exciting new venue in Western North Carolina hosting small personal retreats, weddings and private gatherings. Your host, Lilly Bakken, purchased the property in August of 2020 and since then has renovated and rehabbed every room within the house and is now continuing to add to the landscaping with an abundance of flowering trees, hydrangea, dahlias and other flowering perennials. Outside seating areas have also been added to the property and are continuing to be added. The Blue Ridge Mountains make for a beautiful area to stay in.
