This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Gold River Camp was formerly a Gold and Gem Panning Operation on the Second Broad River and the property was part of the US' first gold rush in the 1800's. Now operated as riverfront glamping with an open air pavilion, communal fire pits, and 4 grills you will enjoy ample gathering space while having the luxury of retreating to a private tiny cabin in the evenings. There are ten Cabins on the property (four with en suite bathrooms and six that use the bath house, four glamping tents, 6 tent spots): Cabins with a Bathroom: -The Cottage (Kitchen + bath) - sleeps up to 4 -The Bower (adjoins to the Bower so you can open a door between the two, if wanted) (bath) - sleeps up to 4 -The Terrace (kitchenette + bath) -The Coop - a tiny house on wheels (kitchenette + bath) - sleeps up to 4 (Note: STEEP Ladder to access queen bed in the loft) (pet friendly) Cabins that use the bath house (**bring your own bath towel): Rooms include Mini Fridge + Coffee Maker -The Nook -The Overlook -River Rock Retreat (pet friendly) -The Basin - sleeps up to 4 (per friendly) -River's Edge - riverfront (pet friendly) -On the Bank - riverfront -Boho Glamping Tent - sleeps 4 with floor cots (coffee maker) -Luxe Glamping for 4 - sleeps 4 (coffee maker) -Glamping Tent 1 (no fridge/coffee maker) -Glamping Tent 2 (no fridge/coffee maker) -3 Riverfront Tent sites (no electric/water) The only kitchen is in The Cottage. There is a microwave and coffee maker in the pavilion. Host can help assist with catering recommendations if you are looking for bring outside food in. The Riverfront is perfect for relaxing on warm days, shallow water makes it an easy play place for young adventurers while the adults relax in a beach chair and wade in the water.
