A hand-clapping, glass-clinking, foot-stomping, sing-a-long, night of entertainment is what you can expect at one of our shows. We are HAPPY HOUR – a four piece, Celtic-inspired, acoustic band that plays all your favourite drinking songs. Songs that remind you of Ireland, Scotland, Eastern Canada, and beyond. Songs that, even if you are unfamiliar with them, can be sung along to immediately. Crowds love the return to real musicianship, and revel in the sound of the fiddle, mandolin, acoustic guitars, and banjo. They love songs that remind them of the Old Country, seafaring adventures, or a young, broken heart. Any night can be a “St.Paddy’s Day” type celebration! Our style of traditional tunes bring in the “ex-pats”, who love to tip a glass, and take a spin on the dance floor. The members of HAPPY HOUR are talented, music industry veterans, who are professional, prompt, and reliable. Our set-up allows us to play in pubs, and venues that traditionally balk at live bands. Bands that can’t control their volume, and take up too much space. We can play the smallest room, that wants that old world ambiance, or fill the dance floor with jigs and reels.
