EVENTS
Events will take place after Diffraction has closed. Events are subject to approval. Event Parties will be referred to herein as “Renter”.
COST
Hourly events will be held between the hours of 8 am-2pm or 8-11 pm Monday-Sunday and will cost 150$ per hour plus any wine club discounts. This cost includes staff and the tasting room entirely. The time frame given to us will also include set up and tear down, if you need more time for set up and tear down, please adjust the desired hours for the additional time needed. The Renter can begin set up no more than 1 hour before the formal start time of the event as tasting room closes. There is no kitchen available to use at this location.
TASTING ROOM BUYOUT (DURING REGULARLY SCHEDULED OPEN HOURS)
The tasting room is available for buy-out and the rate will depend on the day of the week. Monday-Thursday 175$ per hour during operating hours, Friday-Sunday 200$ per hour during operating hours. Wine club member discounts apply.
GAMES
Games are included in the rental fee. Renter is responsible for damage done to games if excessive damage occurs.
WINE & BEER
Wine and beer are not included in the rental fee, wine will be paid before the event, or on the day of the event. Beer does not have to be paid for ahead of time.
FOOD
Food will be provided by Diffraction (Ice cream, hot dogs, brisket sliders, bratwursts, popcorn, Ice cream and waffle cones). Food must be ordered ahead of time and price of food Is not part of rental costs. Outside food can be brought in if discussed beforehand.

DECORATIONS
If décor or items need to be brought in advance, please let the event coordinator know. Renter shall not nail, tack, staple, glue, tape or otherwise attach in a semi-permanent manner any decorations without the prior approval of Diffraction. No decorating materials which may leave a residue shall be used for decorating. Ladders or other set-up supplies are the responsibility of the Renter and/or Renter’s vendor. No open flames, including candles, may be used by Renter.
DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY
A deposit of 1 hour rental charge will be due 60 days before the event ($150 for non-members, $150 for wine club members plus discount). This cost will go towards the entire rental cost due after the event. Cancellation between 60 and 30 days out from the date of the event will result in a 50% return of the deposit. If Renter cancels this Agreement 30 days of the event date, Renter shall forfeit his or her deposit. Upon cancellation, any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by Diffraction at the request of Renter shall be reimbursed to Diffraction by Renter within a reasonable time after such cancellation.
GUEST LIMIT/TABLE/CHAIRS
Events are limited to 40 or fewer people depending on the event. There are 10 seats at the lunch counter, 8 seats around the center table, up to 8 seats outside on the patio, and 8 chairs surrounding games. The patio is available to use, but alcohol cannot go outside of our designated patio area.
DAMAGE
Renter shall be solely liable for any property loss and/or damage caused by their guests and/or vendors which occurs during the Rental Term. The Renter shall fully reimburse Diffraction for any such loss and/or damage within a reasonable time following expiration of the Rental Term and such loss/damage will be billed after event based on damage which occurs during the event.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
Diffraction shall not be responsible for any lost or stolen items of Renter, Renter’s guests and/or Renter’s vendors.
PETS
Pets will not be permitted during events.
