Terms and Conditions
Insurance Coverage
• Special event coverage liability insurance is required. Coverage must be obtained 10 days prior to the event • The Certificate of
Insurance must list ‘St. Gregorios Orthodox Church’ as additionally insured and/or the certificate holder, and indicating a minimum
$1,000,000.00 in combined single limit for Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability coverage
Alcohol and Tobacco policy
• The use of alcohol or alcoholic beverages in any form are NOT permitted in the Community Center or church premises •
Smoking and use of tobacco in any form is NOT permitted in the Community center or church premises
Firearms
• Firearms, concealed weapons, or other dangerous weapons are NOT permitted in the Community Center or church
premises
Liability
• Church/Community Center is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property. Personal items are the sole responsibility of the
owner
• Church/Community Center is not responsible for any personal injuries or accidents
Cooking
• Ovens, electric grills, griddles, portable gas grills, are acceptable
• Stove top/cooking range NOT allowed - only oven or microwave for reheating
Temperature Controls
• Temperature controls are preset, please do not change.
Decorations
• Decorations must meet Fire Codes. Flammable materials are NOT allowed.
• Decorations cannot be taped, tacked, or nailed to doors, walls, ceiling or windows. No decorations can be attached to the outside
of buildings. Glitter may not be used.
• All candles must be enclosed in glass containers. Votive lights are allowed when placed inside of nonflammable containers. •
Balloons should be secured to prevent them from rising to the ceiling.
• Decorations should be free standing and removed from the Community Center following the event.
Doors
• Manor fire Code requires all Exit doorways to be open and no doors/Exits blocked. A clear path to the Exit doors must be
maintained at all times.
Parking
• Vehicles are restricted to parking lot
Pets
• Only service animals are allowed, no other pets are allowed
Audio Visual equipment
• Audio visual equipment in the Community Center may be used for church events only
Children
• Children under the age of 18 are to be supervised at all times by an adult 21 years of age or older. For safety reasons, no child
under 12 years of age should be in the kitchen.
Cleanup
• It is expected that you leave the Community Center as clean or cleaner than you found it
• All tables and chairs should be wiped down and placed back in the manner that you found them. If used, table cloths should be
cleaned and set back on the tables
• If the kitchen is used, make sure everything is back in place.
• There should not be any food left in the refrigerator
• Remove trash and place in proper containers
• Make sure all water taps, sinks, toilets in kitchen and bathroom are shut off, and all
• toilets flushed
