We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the General Warren Inne in December of 2006. The entire event was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing in retrospect. We had use of the entire property for the day. The ambiance of the Inne was very romantic and since we wanted to keep the wedding small and intimate, it was the perfect setting for our 120 guests. The Inne and the outside grounds are a great place for wedding pictures, too. We had a Christmas wedding so the property was beautifully decorated for the season and the fireplaces were roaring all day. Patrick handled so many details for us, and I’m still amazed at how everything went so well. All I did was show up and the staff handled everything from receiving and storing my cake and flowers (from outside vendors) safely to setting up and decorating. The staff also coordinated well with our hired musicians and photographers. Some of our guests and I stayed the whole weekend in the suites upstairs. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to get prepared for the big event. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the food was amazing. It’s been almost five years and I still receive compliments on my wedding. I felt it was a little unique and different from the standard hotel wedding. Several of my friends told me they want their weddings to be just like mine. My husband and I visit a couple times a year at least for dinner and their high standards for food and great service still remain.
