The best part of Indie Desk it is specifically designed for meetings/conferences yet retains an urban and welcoming vibe. I first came upon Indie Desk by accident, the outside of the place caught my eye and the owner came out to greet me and gave me a tour and briefing of what the place was about. He was super friendly and intensely passionate about the project, which is why the place has such a welcoming feel to it. Indie Desk, has a conference room and computers set up for use, as well as a small rec room/kitchen area. The overall look and aesthetic of Indie Desk is fresh, crisp, and edgy. The ergonomic furniture and minimalist decor with bright accent colours add to the appeal , I love being in a work area that isn't so visibly drab, the brightness of the place puts me in a good mood. The best part of all is it's open 24 hours if you have a full membership and they are flexible. Cons would be that parking is hard to find, but then again that pretty much sums up all of Los Angeles. The venue is also on the smaller side and the maximum people I would want to fit in the conference room is around 20. The location is a bit random and there is no food or catering offered.
