A testament to the highest level of the grape grower’s art, Clos de Vougeot is one of the most renowned vineyards on the planet. Established by Cistercian monks in the 12th Century and protected by stately walls since 1336, Clos de Vougeot holds the esteemed Grand Cru designation reserved for only the top one percent of vineyards. In the middle of these ancient vines stands Chateau du Clos de Vougeot, the elegant Renaissance castle and former winery of the monks. While no longer in wine production, the chateau is famous for its receptions and superb hospitality, set in elegant surroundings. Our meeting area continues this proud tradition, providing a beautiful space for people to gather, celebrate and connect.
