1. This contract is for the payment of refundable security deposit of $ _______ US Dollars + (PLUS) rental fee of $________ Reservations are only confirmed upon receipt of a Deposit. Full payment due 30 days prior to event date. Cancellation FOR ANY REASON within 60 Days will incur a $200 Penalty, within 30 days will surrender Deposit. Failure to show for rental date or will result in loss of rental FEE and DEPOSIT Attendees exceeding 150 persons in the building at any one time will forfeit deposit Int: ______ 2. By executing this form, the renter shall agree to indemnify and hold harmless American Legion Post # 1, its officers members and agents (Leonia Legion LLC), from and against any claims, damages, losses & expenses, including attorney’s fees resulting from the renter’s use of the facility…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….Int: ______ 3. The use of the facility is limited to the calendar day of the rental only. Leonia Legion is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damage to renter’s or guest’s articles and personal property…………………. Int: ______ 8. Renter is fully responsible for the actions and behaviors of all guests while in and on the facility and its grounds including damages Int: ______ 9. No use of the grounds surrounding the facility are permitted, except other than loading and offloading, arriving, and departing guests on the side and front sidewalks, smokers on steps and porch only, and those guests seeking fresh air…………………………………………. ………………Int: ______ 10. Renter must comply with all Federal, State, Local, and ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control) regulations as they pertain to alcohol. Absolutely no cooking, gas/electric stoves of any kind, unless written request is submitted to American Legion Post #1 and permits from the Leonia Fire Department and Leonia Health Department are acquired. “Sterno” fuel only - Any violation will forfeit deposit……………..Int: ______ 12. Use of the oven Prohibited. Should the fire suppression system be triggered, the security deposit will be forfeited and $500 fine Int: ______ 13. False activation of the fire alarm requires a service fee of $300, which will be deducted from the security deposit……………………………… Int: ______ 14. Decorations are permitted but only on the approved cup hooks throughout the facility. No tape, staples, pins shall be used on any wall, door or trim in any manner, shape or form.
