We are excited to work with you to host your event and look forward to delivering a seamless event. Below are more details of what you can expect from our team before, during and after your event.
YOUR EVENT VENUE SALES DIRECTOR
• Provides personal tours of the venue facilities
• Executes all contractual agreements between you and Plantation Palms Golf Club
• Acts as your primary venue contact, able to answer questions regarding the venue and
communicate with all other departments with Plantation Palms Golf Club
• Provides you with an outline of your financial commitments and pre-payment schedule
• Tracks and manages your deposits and final billings owed to the venue
• Coordinates culinary tasting- Weddings Only (for 2 Guests – additional guest $25.00 pp)
and provides dedicated assistance with menu and bar selections, and any items listed in
your venue catering packages. (i.e., specialty linens, chair rentals, etc.)
• Confirms final guest count and specific menu selections, if applicable
• Prepares a detailed Banquet Event Order (BEO) outlining your specific venue contracted
items and times
• Creates a floorplan of your function space for you to plan out specific seating
arrangements
• Recommends special event professionals to provide music, floral arrangements,
photography services, wedding coordination and planning, ceremony officiants, audio
visual equipment, etc.
• Attends your event to ensure successful execution of function between culinary and
banquet service teams
• Ensures a smooth transition to your Banquet Manager
YOUR BANQUET MANAGER
• Will oversee and execute all culinary and service needs during your entire event
• Acts as supervisor and point person on the floor for timing of food per timeline provided
• Check with event host(s) and guests throughout the event to ensure satisfaction
YOUR PROFESSIONAL “WEDDING” EVENT PLANNER is strongly encouraged and welcomed.
• Ensure a flawless wedding by helping you along the way to bring your vision to life and
make planning much easier.
• Main point of contact and direction on wedding day for wedding vendors, bridal party and
family
• Communicate and coordinate the arrival and set-up times of wedding vendors
• Manage vendor commitments and the timing and execution of all activities of the
ceremony and reception
• Create a full timeline for your wedding day, including ceremony, reception, and other
wedding related events. (i.e., toasts, first dance, cake cutting, speeches, etc.)
• Assist with proper etiquette and protocol for invitations, ceremonies, and toasts
• Review and collect any last-minute items for your event
• Coordinate and practice your rehearsal with your wedding party for proper placement and
music for ceremony and reception
• Assist the bride, groom and wedding party with any dressing needs,
bouquets/boutonnieres, and line-ups
• Assist with decorating, placing, and collecting personal items pertaining to the ceremony
and reception
• Manage any personal items, DIY, gifts, cake toppers, etc. you bring with you until the
conclusion of the event
• Cleanup and collection of all personal items to ensure they make it back to the owner
• All personal property and vendor goods must be removed at the conclusion of the event.

WHAT TO EXPECT MENUS AND PRICING
We take pride in offering you and your guests a delectable menu with several options. The menus are a guide in helping you plan your perfect event. Our Chef welcomes the opportunity to work with you in customizing your menu, but be advised, all changes must be accepted by the Chef 30 days prior to your event. Pricing can change with new food selections and will be updated on BEO (Banquet Event Order). Prices are subject to change without notice.
There is a Food & Beverage Requirement: All events are required to meet an event minimum. An event minimum is an amount a host must spend in order to secure a private space at the club. If the minimum is not met, add additional food or beverage OR any balance will be posted as food and beverage charge to your master account, plus the applicable taxes and servicer charge.
GUEST GUARANTEE
A guest guarantee is required for all events 2 weeks prior to the event and Plantation Palms Golf Club will prepare for your event accordingly without deviation. If counts do not meet contract minimum, client can order additional food and beverages to meet the required contract minimum or pay balance as a room fee.
DEPOSITS
In order to book your space, a deposit is required for all events, along with the signed BEO. The deposit will be credited to the total cost of the event. Payment may be made in cash, major credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover (3% fee) or American Express (4% fee)) or check. All deposits are nonrefundable.

SERVICE CHARGE
A service charge/fee are used to cover the cost of operating on and around your event.
A 23% service charge and 7% Florida sales tax will be added to ALL prices. The Service Charge is not gratuity.
FINAL PAYMENT
A guest guarantee is required for all events 2 weeks prior to the event and Plantation Palms Golf Club will prepare for your event accordingly without deviation. Final payment of the balance due will be processed 2 weeks prior to the event to reflect the guest guarantee.
EVENT DURATION
All events will have a schedule beginning and ending time. Plantation Palms Golf Club allows for four hours of venue use with two hours allocated prior to the event for setup. Any event extending past the scheduled time will be subject to an additional room rental of $500 per hour.
OUTDOOR FUNCTIONS
Due to the demands of the scheduling, staff and equipment movement, Plantation Palms will determine the day of your function, no later than five (5) hours prior to your function, whether the function will be held inside or outside. If the weather forecast is 40% chance of rain or higher, extreme temperature or lightning, the event will automatically be moved inside to ensure the safety of guests and staff, NO EXCEPTIONS.
