I used the D&R B-B-Q for my wedding, and I must admit at the beginning I was rather skeptical. They were listed as more of a smokehouse or deli than anything else. When I walked in the doors my opinion completely changed. The D&R B-B-Q is a quaint little shop with some of the friendliest workers you will find anywhere. They greeted my completely by giving me their personal attention. When I told them I was interested in hiring them as a caterer for my upcoming wedding, they gave me a book to go through with different meals. While I was waiting to meet with the catering coordinator they treated me and my family to free beverages. The Coordinator at the time was a very engaging woman who took time to answer all my questions and concerns. She was very knowledgeable in the products they were offering. We set up a taste taste with D&R so we could taste what they had to offer. The food was absolutely delicious and even though it was meat dishes they were arranged in a way to make them elegant. I was allowed to bring my family with me to test the food. We were served 4 separate dishes to try out, along with side dish and dessert. The Brisket was probably my favorite dish, and it fell apart in your mouth, I had never tasted Brisket so good, even at a four or five star restaurant. She was also very patient with my grandmother, who asks endless streams of questions. The prices are some of the cheapest in town for a full service caterer, which is another reason I was nervous to stop at the beginning. The day of my wedding they took care of all the set up, serving and clean up for my guests. The serving was no extra charge, which is unusual for caterers in my area. I would recommend D&R B-B-Q to anyone who needed a caterer for any event. I know that I am going to book them for my Christmas party this year.
